Let's hear your best argument... why does the US have tens of thousands of soldiers in Afghanistnam? Because of a 6'4" boogey-man in Pakistan?

lol.

creaming their jeans over opinions about possible economic successes of the administration. They can't be distracted by the gusher or the wars or the racism.

Nope, just create a good scorecard for the prez and get him re-elected in '12, regardless the cost. Don't get me wrong, I voted for the man. I just hope he hasn't completely sold us down the river to the highest corporate bidders. It gets harder to hide the similarities between this admin and the last one when we see the debacles like the gusher and the ongoing unjustifiable warfare we are responsible for.

May 17, 2010

TIME: Local witnesses interviewed by TIME say the nighttime raid by U.S. forces killed eight residents of this sun-baked farming village in eastern Afghanistan. The U.S. military insists that the operation in Koshkaky targeted insurgents active in the area, including a Taliban sub-commander who was killed. 2. Dear President Obama.
As a combat vietnam vet I implore you to stop this insanity. If I had the guts I would have reenlisted and taken one of these young soldiers place but I just couldn't put myself through that hell again. War resolves nothing and hurts everyone and everything. Look inside yourself and muster up the guts I lacked.
