Nor have they ever been relevant.

I try to remind everyone, most of the problems we have had in 2009 were negotiating with members of our own party who had a lobbyist tie to a particular interest.

Tea Party people didn't put Max Baucus in charge of writing the HCR bill or Chris Dodd in charge of Financial Reform Regulations, Harry Reid did that. The Tea Party didn't water down the stimulus bill or destroy the Jobs bill. Democratic Senators did that.

Today, I may watch a former Republican, who has been more of a democrat in 2009 than half the caucus go down to a primary challenger, when the likes of Reid who overseas the circus move on to the General Election.

I was trying to call them tea partyers to be respectful until they insulted me and my ethnicity by approving of those racist laws that Arizona is passing so I feel calling them tea baggers is appropriate. If they don't respect me. I won't respect them.

There was a thread here a week or two ago which made the argument that there's nothing wrong with "teabagging", so calling the TP folks this was actually insulting to real teabaggers.
