Kendrick Meek Met With Palm Beach Post Editorial Board Friday

Here is the link: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/meek-faces-battle-to-win-support-of-palm-689255.html

Firefox is acting up for me today and it won't allow me to copy and paste the four paragraphs. According to some commenters it was a mediocre performance, but you decide when you read the article.

1. Here's the material...
Earlier Friday, Meek met with The Palm Beach Post editorial board. He said the $787 billion Democratic stimulus bill "is working" and defended the Democratic health care overhaul bill.

Meek criticized Rubio's willingness to consider raising the retirement age for Social Security and Medicare benefits. Meek didn't offer a specific proposal of his own to improve the long-term solvency of the programs, but said he would fight privatization and work to "get the experts around the table" to reach a solution.

Most of the article is about a fundraising event

(FWIW, my wife met him in NYC last month and wasn't overly impressed)

2. Thank you for posting that. Firefox is driving me crazy for two days
now. I was disappointed to read about his mother getting him that job as a driver for the gov. and his not finishing the academy. I thought he was a "paid his dues FHP" and thought that gave him gravitas. Sometimes moms do more harm than good...LOL. I think this is Charlie's to win...
