I've not been an exceptional one. I had so many irons in so many fires and have to confess I have neglected somewhat over the years being spread around so thin for everything that I ended up never really good at anything.

But it's never too late. Now I know what is most important, clear as bell. And there's always time for make-up. ;)

2. I think the majority of moms do the best they can given their circumstances.

The demands of juggling work and family are tough for everyone and moms are generally (I know there are many exceptions) expected to do the bulk of the housework, nurturing, errands, etc. in addition to working. I'm sure your family considers you an exceptional mom, and I hope you have a great Mother's Day.
