the biggest story of the week (oil spill) has a news conference and the 'news' shows don't show it
well, they showed about ten minutes....

what the fuck is wrong with our media? here it is in a nutshell

they are reporting on this story 24/7 but when real news about it is possibly being made, they can't be bothered.

here's my salute to our media....

6. I didn't catch that, but what I saw was pretty extensive, including interviewing
RFK Jr.

There IS other news and I think they devoted an equal (if not longer) amount of time to the spill.

9. No - he was part of the MSNBC coverage I was citing. I didn't realize you were
referring to the press conference.

I agree this is real news -- this is real BIG news, but there is other news as well. I wouldn't complain if it were Katrina-like coverage, but the rest of the goings-on that affect us keep going on, and I want to be aware of those things, too.
