Good article by Senator Bernie Sanders
It has rankled me that the AM spin meisters blather incessantly about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, yet say nothing about the continued growth of the big banks. As Sanders points out, there were several including him that saw the writing on the wall and attempted to address this behemoth before it got out of hand. It wasn't as mysterious and unforseen as many would have you believe.
