Scarborough rips Rubio for “Morning Joe” snub
Fresh off his declaration of independence yesterday in St. Pete, Florida Governor Charlie Crist traveled across the bay to Tampa this morning, where he appeared by satellite on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program, hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

But Scarborough, a former Florida Republican Congressman and avowed “Rubio conservative,” blasted staff members of the now certain Republican Senate nominee because they said Rubio would not appear on the program because of comments made by Scarborough about Rubio being investigated in the credit card scandal that has engulfed several leaders of the party, first and foremost being former party chair (and Crist ally) Jim Greer.

After the satellite feed to Crist fell through and there was some dead time to fill, Newsweek magazine editor Jon Meachem asked Scarborough his thoughts about the St. Petersburg Times and Miami Herald’s investigations. Scarborough replied,

“I’ll tell you my thoughts on a political campaign that is scared to send their person out to talk to a like minded conservative. That sounds like a political operation that doesn’t think their player is ready for prime time. Sounds like a political operation that may think they’re sitting on a lead that they really don’t have, I think Marco Rubio needs to show courage, and if he thinks he can sit back and avoid interviews he’s in trouble.”

Rubio will win the primary. We can then sit back and watch him open mouth and insert foot all summer long! He's gonna have to talk eventually.

2. Rubio is proving...
that he's not a prime-time candidate.

He's the male version of Palin.

7. So I guess Fox News hasn't mentioned the scandal
Seriously, when are we going to do something about Fox? They should at least be required to remove the word "News" from their channel name.

8. Count your blessings.
If Fox does mention the scandal, the graphic on the screen will say that the people being investigated are Democrats.
