I had some freeper on Friday tell me, after complaining about taxes, corruption from Democrats, and growing Socialism that "slavery wasn't really as bad as they make it seem in Hollywood films" and also tell me about how he helped launder millions of dollars through an off shore account to avoid paying taxes. What the f***? I argued with him a little, but I finally just had to walk away because he's a friend's dad and I did not want to start screaming at him.

How can anyone who considers taxation to be robbery and wrong ever, EVER justify slavery? When he said that, the first thing I did was to say "they were still slaves!" in complete shock.

Sorry, just had to vent at the hypocrisy so rampant in the right.
