most are just venting - they are angry with the hypocrisy of Barbour and his fellow compassionate conservatives. They don't mean you or others any harm and they wouldn't agree to withholding resources from you or any of those impacted by this disaster.

welcome to DU and try to remember that sometimes you just have to take what is posted with a grain of salt. For many, all they can do is vent on message boards, they are frightened and frustrated and mocking the likes of Barbour and his ilk is a much needed release.

have our hearts in the right place and want every bit of help the government can provide to get to those who are hurting, as quickly as possible. We're just pissed off ( as you no doubt are too, as a fellow progressive) at the sickening hypocrisy of the right wing , and are expressing that.
