Arizona Law should be enough incentive to get to the polls and vote Democratic.
I have heard a lot of complaining on DU about the Obama administration and how Democrats are going to be trounced in the upcoming elections. It only makes me more determined to defeat the Republican racists. The Democrats are failing to make this a moral issue that would attract younger voters and bring them to the polls.
1. We learned NOTHING from our Mecham moment, in the '90s.
All of the good little repuke capitalists are trying to take the heat off of themselves by making the debate about Raul Grijalva for calling for a business boycott of his own state. But Mr. Grijalva is absolutely right to ask businesses to shun Arizona. It was the only thing that worked after racist governor Evan Mecham cancelled Martin Luther King Day.
And remember that Mecham's idiocy eventually led to his impeachment and removal. The charges against him had nothing to do with MLK Day but his cancellation of the holiday caused him to have such a bad image that his own party dug up the dirt on him to get him out of office.
