Busy day today...

I am getting ready for a very busy day. At 10:30 this morning, I will sit in for the first 1/2 hour or so of our church service, but then will be leaving for Salem, with other women of the church to participate in the annual WALK for HAWC to raise money for HAWC (used to be Help for Abused Women and Children...now...Healing Abuse, Working for Change)beginning at noon. That will take about 2 hours.

Will get to come home and spend some time with the kitty, to let him know I still live here, but then back to church by 4:00 to set up for our Italian dinner AT 5:00, with clean up after that. All of the proceeds from the supper will be given to buy school kits for the children of Haiti.
When I say all...that is just what I mean. The money will be handled through UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief - and there are no overhead, administrative or any other costs involved.

I will need all the positive vibes I can get. Lots going on.
