Where do you suppose the war profiteers hide their money?
Of course everyone but dick cheney likes to keep it a secret that they are making huge profits off all this human misery and death, if it were revealed how much money a politician is actually making, it might not look just right.

Who are the war supporters who are making out like bandits off the blood of our sons and daughters? I want to see the names and the profits of every single one of them, published in the New York frikkin' Times. I want to see how many billions they've made off the horrible deaths of half a million innocent people.

Where do you suppose they hide their blood money? Offshore? Swiss banks? Or do they launder it? How much did each one get out of the missing 9 billion while bremer was in Iraq? How much is dick cheney making? How much is Halliburton and Bechtel and Blackwater and Kellog Browne and Root making in actual dollars from the senseless slaughter disguised as a fight from freedom and democracy?

Help me out here.

1. That missing $9 bil is nothing. Where's the $2.3 TRILLION missing from
the Pentagon that Rummy told us about on Sept 10? (and why was that orthodox rabbi in charge of bookkeeping at the pentagon anyway?)

2. Oskar Schindler put his in suitcases
and bought back human lives from the Nazis with his.

But I doubt anyone from Haliburton or Bechtel saw the film.

16. Ding!
From everything I've seen, you are correct.
Blackwater has, according to as much info as I've been able to glean, approximately one hundred six thousand troops in Iraq, although that number may or may not include Afghanistan. Given that the mercenaries are paid at several multiples of military troops' levels (between three and ten times as much, usually) the direct cost for mercenaries is about as high as the entire military budget, minus ships and other very large equipment.

Given that nearly half the military budget goes to privatized sources, it is little wonder that our troops are so poorly provided for and new/updated equipment so slow in coming.
This travesty-largely brought on by the neo-con/"conservative" penchant for favoring privatization of every damn thing in sight or out, has been, somehow, kept from the focus of much hard-hitting or detailed reporting and analysis.

14. But they aren't hiding it.
There's no need to.

They do business, just like Halliburton or Blackwater.

They make profits, get paid, so on and so forth.

They put the money in their banks, in brokerage accounts, whatever.

And those who have pension funds - or mutual funds - quite probably
get a small piece of the action.

17. I want to know when do they have enough?
At what point do they finally have enough money, cars, houses, boats, planes, land . . . stuff? I cannot fathom their greed. There is not a place dark enough for these creatures.

When Cheney is on his deathbed, will his final wish be for higher earnings per share?

He who dies with the most toys, still dies.

Time is the essence of our lives.

I don't know, though. I'll bet they have guards and stuff.

I am a capitalist, but I think this nation might be a little too comfortable with capitalism. The idea of war profiteering might be hard to convince them of.

20. A very small fraction would be held in cash accounts.
The greatest portion would be held in equities - various government obligations, private debt, and private equity instruments - and tangible assets such as real estate.
