In the past century alone, we've had a Fuhrer, a Great Leader, and an Il Duce, not to mention the fictional Big Brother. And now we have -- ta da -- The Commander Guy.

Let's face it. We have a certifiable psychopath occupying the White House who has run totally amok. He's like a child who snuck into the Oval Office and is rabidly looking through all the drawers for that little thing called the "nuclear button."

On second thought, perhaps it's the rest of us who are 100% insane for not having yet found a way to finally put a stop to it. But that's the problem. How? All of our letter writing, marching, protesting, cursing out congress, and everything else we've tried to do is for naught. The Commander Guy just doesn't give a damn what we do. (There's always impeachment, but the votes just aren't there.)

So I guess we're left keeping our fingers crossed until January 20th, 2009 and hope The Commander Guy doesn't find that little nuclear button.

in that gathering of the BFEE. It seems likely that none of them could ever get elected, but then neither was our current "Commander Guy."
