(In Pittsburg, CA) Officers kill suspect in woman's death
(04-23) 18:21 PDT PITTSBURG -- Law enforcement officers shot and killed a parolee today who was sought in the slaying of a woman found dead in her burning Bay Point apartment earlier in the week, authorities said.

Gary Costa, 37, was shot dead near Marsh Avenue and Frontage Road in Pittsburg at about 4:20 p.m. after a car chase, said sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee. Details about what led up to the shooting were not available.
