I have non-refundable tickets for my family to travel to Arizona
to visit my Mom. I'm a paleface, so I don't expect to be called out.. But I'm going to call Arizona to inquire as to whether we should all carry our birth certificates with us when we go..

I think EVERYONE should call Arizona and find out. All at once. For months. The question is, should we concentrate on the Governor's office?

The Honorable Jan Brewer
Governor of Arizona

Phoenix, Arizona 85007

13. I am a geographical ignoramus
But my point is, if you have a valid reason to visit Arizona, why not do it? Individual actions don't mean shit.

As was stated in my earlier thread, I'm going through an existential crisis.

9. Good luck. I haven't been able to reach the Governor's office all week.
Due to the high volume of phone calls... Instead of this action, please support our Democratic candidate for Governor, Terry Goddard. He's our current AG and an excellent candidate. Please, we need all the help we can get!

30. If you cannot reach the Governor, call a random legistlator
Here is the link to the Arizona Legislature. If you know the bill number, you can find out who voted for it and just call those members: http://www.azleg.gov/

You now need to have a certified replica tatood on an appropriate body part. You also need to carry a certified copy of the video of the tatooing and the sworn testimony of two witnesses that it is in fact your...."body part".

It really is the end times....:hide:

It would be great to have an economic boycott of Arizona! I'm going to put that on my facebook page.

31. Can illegal immigrants obtain an authentic driver's license?
I would think the bureau of motor vehicles checks address and social security number.
Heck, in some the social security number is ON the license.
Foriegners with licenses need to show student visas or green cards.

Skinner -- I've said this before. We need to have a place for threads like this to reside semi-permanently. The State of Arizona should be flooded with calls non-stop, every day.

32. I love this idea. I also love Arizona with all my heart, it is so beautiful
it calls me back in my dreams.
I think barraging the governor's office with phone calls is a great idea.
All at once. For months - exactly like you said.

I don't have a birth certificate, I only have a framed naturalization certificate.
I think this will provide fodder for some good and fun phone calls with inquiries to stump some of them and utterly entertain me.

I aim to start the calling ASAP.
Thanks for the numbers.

On the other side of my mouth
if I were to ask my mother who was an
Aryan example girl in the Hitler youth (until when she married my Dad at age 18 he put an instant stop to that)

I know she will tell me that this is racial profiling and is how it all started in Germany

and I will get so damn sad about what is continuing to happen in my country.

35. The Police Chief in Phoenix said that
his orders were clear. ANY traffic stop, he is ordering officers to ask to see citizenship papers, does not matter if you are a paleface or not. Why? He don't want no lawsuits for racial profiling. I am sure he is going to get them, but still.
