Is there any Dem equivilant to the Tea Party?
I am angry! The Pukes break this country and the workers in it. I want them to back off! The Dems should be just as angry as anyone, that we have to fight twice as hard to get anything fixed.

The Repub's biggest fear is that government might work for the people and not the corporations.

What are we doing to organize a pushback against the obstructionists? Is there any place that angry Dems can go?

I joined the Coffee Party, only to find out that you must have a "reasonable" discussion and you must bash the government. It seems to have been taken over by the Teabaggers.

I'm just so frustrated.

1. Yeah there is
The Democrat equivalent would be the original tea party, which was pissed off at corporate lobbying for tax breaks (tea act of 1773) while everyone else paid their fair share. Wasn't about what the government was doing with the money, it was about corporations monopolizing the little guys and the government they paid off to let them get away with it.

2. You Would Need Fox News and Freedom Works To Funnel Millions Of Corporate Dollars...
...in the form of free publicity and promotion to have a Democratic equivalent.

But seriously, how are Democrats going to get that kind scratch for a progressive cause?

The equivalent would be:

A retired Nancy Pelosi playing the role of Dick Armey.

MSNBC on steroids with several 2016 Democratic presidential candidates on its payroll ala Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich with a former Democratic strategist playing the roll of Roger Ailes, and a Demorat to reprise the role of Karl Rove. Corporations funneling billions into an astro turf outfit like Freedom Works or the U.S. Chamber of Commerce also funnelling millions attacking progressive causes.

Think about it. Where are the anti-Wall Street Tea Partiers during the financial regulation fight? The corporate masters are not allowing it or providing sponsorship, thus there are no demostrations, rallies or Fox News coverage.

Why all the hate? We should encoruage the tea baggers and let them form a political party to steal Conservative votes from republicans
Then they can see how we felt when we had the election stolen from us in 2000

9. I agree that teabaggers are going to hurt the 'Licans much more than they hurt dems . . .
By

1) defeating not-insane 'Lican candidates in the primaries. The winning whacko candidates will (in two-way races) be rejected by a the noncrazy center-right, or (in three-way races), split the right-of-center to far-right vote in half.

2) forcing not-insane 'Lican candidates to take up insane positions to prevent getting knocked off in the primaries. And by so doing, making themselves unelectable.

A scary scenario, however, is that the teabaggers manage to generate real enthusiasm (as opposed to the faux enthusiasm we're seeing so much of) that the movement gains genuine momentum -- the "I'm mad as hell" scenario.

It's going to be very interesting.

11. Second Amendment Libs I suppose
The Tea Baggers got attention for "waving guns" around at town hall meetings. Perhaps the left needs to do this. Wonder how long the Repubs would scream about right to carry everywhere, when the next WTO/G8 summit has pistol packing anarchists running around.
