what is it with republicans that they give us these women that are so incredibly stupid. i was telling hubby about the chicken lady (i just saw a video on her and a chicken dance, lol) and how consistently we are getting stupid women from repugs. but then thinking about it, over the last handful of years there has been steel, mccain, bush and many more of the repug males that stupidity is right up there with the repug women. so i am not feeling as bad about it as i did a couple minutes ago.

Equality means girls get to be every bit as stupid as boys. And now that women are getting into positions of power, this equality is on display for us all to see. :P

The republicans tell the people what they want to hear and the democrats tell the people that to make things work we have to work together and maybe we might have to give up a little so everyone can share.

4. I don't think it's just the women, either.

Is there any Democrat who is as gob-stoppingly stupid as Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Steve King, or Pete Hoekstra? And that's just my short list. I've got Paul Broun, Peter King, that Cecil Ash I only heard about today--dumb, dumb sonsaguns. And for Senators, are there really people worse than Inhofe or Coburn for sheer making-stuff-up-as they go-along-itude? Or what about Kyl and McCain--I saw a video clip of Kyl blocking those 97 appointees the other day and he was wearing a smirk that looked for all the world like he was a runner-up in a crap-eating contest. McCain is just worse every time you look at him. George Bush had to have his shoulders pinned back as a boy to keep his knuckles from dragging.

And I have to probably swallow my bile and say that Kay Bailey Hutchison, Olympia Snowe and Collins aren't dumb, nor was Christie Whitman, although Liddy Dole was a hell of a piece of work. I just think the Palins and Bachmanns tend to drown out the more serious GOP women.
