I have a confession to make re: the Republican debate...
This is actually kinda funny...I fell asleep five minutes before it started and woke up as they were saying their thank-yous and good-byes, almost as if on cue!

For the last two weeks I've been prepping for a trade show, and I think my brain was trying to do me a favor, telling me not to bother. I'm watching it now in the re-run. I've not been impressed at all.

Thank you, brain. (But now I'm gonna be awake until 3:00 AM!)

These people make me sick.

Ron Paul is the only one with half a brain.

5. Ron Paul was the first elected Republican to turn against Bush's war
I will always remember him for that....and why he said he turned against it. He is a fairly honest dude...for a Republican. If I had to pick one of these pukes, it would be him.

2. Okay...Rudy is total nutbag out of his league...McCain is an angry old fart.
I keep waiting for McCain to scream "GET OFF MY LAWN!" I can't imagine either of these men anywhere near the White House. They're sceeeeery.

4. Ron Paul placed in the top four in the MSNBC poll. This is good!
He should be in the next debate!

Ron Paul + Mike Gravel must be driving the professional political handlers CRAZY! he, he . . .

6. Be afraid...be very, very afraid.
In watching the KO re-run of the post-debate coverage, I see they're anointing Der Mittenfuher as the 'winner' of this ridiculous excuse for a debate. Romney. Mr. Plastic Flip-Flopper is the best the Republicans have to offer.

Actually, maybe we shouldn't be afraid at all. Without another outright theft, if this is the best they have to put up against even the worst of the Democratic Party (making no judgments here), then we're a lock.

7. Ron Paul is actually a Libertarian. He just switched parties...
to get elected. He's still a libertarian at heart. Not necessarily a bad thing, as most libertarians are and have always been against the Iraq war (no 'first use' of force and all that...)
