I'm paraphrasing a very funny segment I watched last night on Rachel Maddow's show. (I must also mention I was smoking a fine organic joint at the time I was watching the segment).

I was laughing hard after this dude, a councilman or assemblyman I can't recall which, nor can I can't recall the town (but his anger nearly had me on the floor laughing).

This dude, (I'll call him a councilman) was responding to an absolutely stupid fucking ignorant republican "citizen" who was standing up addressing the council and it's members, going on & on, in that he was trying to make a point that health care reform, is not necessary and that he knows many people who pay their doctor bills with vegetables from their garden....

Then came the angry response from the councilman that nearly put me on the floor laughing....

Now personally after hearing that shit from some idiot republican, I would of just rolled my eyes, called for security and had the republican lunatic removed and taken back to his rubber room.

But this councilman was so appalled & angered, he actually responded to the ridiculous republican with a sane yet justifiably angry response which had me laughing hard, when he cried out, dead serious to the republican something like.....

"This is a capitalist system. People just can't go around paying their utility bills and doctor bills with chickens or a sack of potatoes"!

Oh, that joint and that segment made my night.
