The dichotomy that is Glenn Beck and his followers.
Glenn Beck proclaims ‘God is giving me a plan’ and his bat shit crazy followers are lapping it up.

Glenn Beck is a proclaimed Mormon. Most Christians believe the Mormon Church is a cult and their followers are not Christian.

So I can only assume if his fan base is saying they are willing to follow a non-christian cult leader they are not Christian? Can this be?

1. They don't think that far - it's enough that he cries about something they're afraid of.

I would imagine those stunned enough into thinking Beck makes sense wouldn't be bothered by being Christian and following a Mormon.

the fact that authoritarian followers are particularly bad at-- and unconcerned with-- reasoning. When they hear a conclusion they agree with, they assume the reasoning is sound. They're very easily manipulated as a result.
