He does this all the time now. In fact, it seems like any right-wing nutjob can always count on Hartmann for radio time. I like Hartmann when I'm actually learning something. But when he goes off the deep end with the nutjobs, as he frequently does, I switch the station.

His current guest (Big Oil shill) just said, "Even 15 years the left comes up with a new Armageddon to try and limit population and enact one-child laws. Global warming is just the latest one". It slid right through. And of course he signed off agreeing with her on cap & trade.

So sad that one of our few voices gives our precious air time to wingers who have 1,000 other stations available for their lies.

You have a history of starting threads criticising Hartmann providing only an out-of-context praphrase of his words. When asked to provide a transcript or an audio file so as to confirm your characterizations or accuracy you refuse and become defensive. In this way your posts appear not so much as the writings of a legitimate media critic than an attempt to become DU's own Brent Bozell.

7. What's the problem?

He was paraphrasing the guest, not Hartmann. His gripe, and mine, is that Hartmann wastes his show when he gives nutjobs radio time. I presume you listen to his show, so you must know it's true. Hartmann is OK when I'm learning something, but giving a platform to nutjobs isn't what I consider radio worth listening to, so when he does that I change the station.
