The Birfers think they've hit the jackpot.
One of the two books Washington checked out of the New York library and never returned was Vattel's Law of Nations.

For those of you not familiar with Birfoonery, the Birfoons think Vattel's book is the defining document on what a natural born citizen is.

Of course, the fools disregard the 14th amendment completely. Naturally, that's the one that ended slavery and gave equal rights to former slaves, too.

1. So Obama's ancesters, the white ones,
conspired with George Washington to check out that book so that when the birthers wanted to find out about natural law, the book would be unavailable. Then, when he was born in Kenya, his grandparents planted a notice in two Hawaiian newspapers saying he was born in Hawaii so that when he ran for president in 45 years (or so) it would look like he was born i Hawaii.

Yeah, that works.

7. It's more they think U.S. law should bow to the writings of a Swiss philosopher
The thing they don't realize is the racism inherent in the Vattel argument for the definition of a natural born citizen.

Under their bullshit interpretation, even though the 14th amendment granted automatic citizenship to freed slaves, none of them were natural born citizens under the Vattel doctrine since no freed slave had a parent who was a citizen at the time of their birth.

The 14th amendment creates two types of citizens, native citizens and naturalized citizens. There are no other types of itizens under the constitution.

3. HE checked out the book so that 220 years later
nobody would know that a Swiss philospher had decided Barack Obama could not be considered a natural born citizen.

6. Freepers walk a thin line there
RimJob is a Birther himself and he has banned Freepers who were with the site since 1998 for ridiculing Birthers.

And he wonders why his fund raisers take longer and longer and longer.
