Canton chief seeks donations to aid former animal control officer

Canton Police Chief Vickie McNeill is soliciting donations for a fired animal control officer's household expenses.

McNeill said she wants to help Alonzo Esco, accused of shooting and dumping as many as 100 animals, to pay household bills he has fallen behind on because he suffers from "medical issues."

He has been charged with five misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and four misdemeanor counts of illegal dumping for allegedly killing numerous animals and dumping their carcasses in a Canton creek while on the job.

Dumping carcasses in a creek is an environmental hazard, is it not?

Still, the creep needs his health care, just like so many other Americans. I won't donate, but I hope he gets the treatment he needs.
