8. think of a mating of a lawn mower and a gas leaf blower in reverse.
Pop the two together, have it suck instead of blow -- voila!

as its not something you put away.
I've never seen a snow blower/thrower actually.

18. Yup, it is put away...
Last year was one of the worst winters ever for eastern WA. I was one of the lucky ones that had a pair of snow blowers. A tractor based one and a 2 stage push behind. Came in super handy.

This year, I barely got to use my push snow blower once. We just never got any snow except for one time with any amount of real accumulation.

Weird weather we are having.

Edited on Sat Apr-17-10 08:32 PM by Odin2005
Anyone who is serious about being Green should ditch the snow-blower fast, it's just another CO2-emmiting gas hog. You should never use one unless you have to because of poor health.

when I was at my mom's for Christmas I shoveled her driveway 3 days in a row, it was good exercise and got my blood flowing.

Oh, and lead-blowers are an abomination.

50. I don't have one.
My driveway is about 300 feet long, on dirt. I just drive through the snow to the private dirt road, which doesn't get plowed, onto the county graveled road, which doesn't get plowed, until I hit the paved road, which will at least get cinders, and WILL get plowed, if it's deep enough.

No trouble dealing with the inch of hail left after Wednesday night's hail storm, which froze solid overnight.

We have to have a service. I now realize why older people move out of their houses into apts. and condos. You get to where you can't physically do all the snow removal and yard maintenance services any more and paying LOTS to have services done for you...

And it is always colder here then where my parents are in Cheshire. We always get more snow then they do. Eventually, we will need to repair our snow blower. My husband does not have the greatest back and he is okay now but in a few years...
