15. ask him what he thinks about the media and how slanted they are toward the Teagaggers.
or something better worded. but a media question in some respect would be great.

33. so, if he starts in on the media ask him why democrats
seem to just lay low and not contest the lies out there as much as should be done. I know they are not welcome to speak as the pugs are, but why aren't there more Graysons, for example? more Kucinichs, to take away some of that thunder the repugs have.

I would love to see some of that passion in democrats that the lieing repugs seem to have.

Ask him to support teachers. It would be so refreshing to hear a politician support us rather than demonize us.

I heard about that.

I hear they have been having good crowds at the trainings recently.

Have a great lunch. Jealous.

16. He is speaking at lunch at the training
It's the biggest DFA training yet. We broke their record. Once we found out Howard was coming for lunch, we blasted it and got a great response.

Our two area congressmen are coming. Moore from KS and Cleaver from MO. Both good Democrats. Moore is retiring and his wife is running for his seat. She will be there tomorrow as well.

Should be a fun weekend. I'll give your best to Howard. :patriot:

9. say hi for me...
way back when he was govn'r in Vermont, he was helping at the Kiwanis auction in St. Johnsbury... I bid way high on a drill because he said he would throw in his tie to the highest bidder... all in good fun. I had myself a slick red and white tie and a way overpriced power drill

Good Times...

He once spoke out strongly against NCLB, powerfully.

Now he says nothing at all.

17. Tell him I said Hi :)
Every once in a while I have fond memories of meeting his camper that was donated for his people powered express. What a wreck it was :)but the staffers driving it were all heart just like Howard. I tried harder to get him elected than any other pol in my life, his actions since he lost have only further convinced me I picked the right guy back then.

Enjoy your lunch I know you will.

54. Head slap! I should know better.
Actually I think Dr. Dean does our causes more good not in public office, unless of course, he is appointed to a cabinet level position. I am not sure he could or would try for President again and otherwise he would not be able to have the national exposure and influence he already has.

44. Beg him to run for President again, not in 2012, but after Obama
has served his two terms. He will win in a landslide that time and he will be sorely needed to finish the job Obama started but without the fear of being too liberal.

52. Would you be willing to ask a question that doesn't get any play with Dems?
Would you ask him why homelessness and the Desperate Need For Low-Income Housing isn't be addressed??

I know it isn't sexy, but it would be a first, and some of us would be very appreciative.

Thank you.
