I'm heading to the Minnesota 4th Congressional District Convention

tomorrow morning. I'm just an alternate delegate, but it's pretty likely that I'll get seated. We'll be endorsing Betty McCollum again, I have no doubt, along with candidates for several local offices. Working at the bottom of the Democratic Party (well, DFL in Minnesota) is how we make progress.

BTW, Betty McCollum is an excellent young Democrat in Congress. She's a single-payer supporter and is a great credit to the party. You've probably never heard her name, but she's there, working for progressive causes all the time.

That would be such a counter-punch campaign toward Ms. Michelle-dump-Buchmans' Tea-racist-hate-group.

5. I didn't try to be a state delegate. Right now, I can't afford three

days in Duluth, I'm afraid. I settled for the CD convention, instead.

In 2012, I expect the state convention to be in The Cities. I'll push hard to become a delegate for that one.
