United Healthcare just declined coverage for me.
Edited on Fri Apr-16-10 11:49 AM by Grand Taurean
For a minor pre-existing condition.

No corporation should get a bailout, ever!
If this is how corporations treat us then I tell ALL OF THEM TO FUCK OFF!

Every health insurance executive should be hung for denying health coverage!

1. Sorry to hear that.
I hope you can get coverage elsewhere. This is why we need a Medicare buy in for people like you. It's not a perfect solution but it could help.

2. "Every health insurance executive should be hung ...."

They are just doing their jobs for the shareholders; that being, maximizing profits which increases the dividends and/or share price. Its the very structure of the private system that runs health insurance in America

The bottom line is that the nation as a whole has deemed many of these expenses and abuses as permissible that may result from private industry being involved with health care. A bill has just been signed into law that espouses this basic philosophy, while trying to technocratically limit such abuses. The bottom line is that the nation has declared private industry's continued involvement in health insurance as beneficial and guaranteed. If you are angry with the manifestations of for-profit health insurance, you may be out of step with the American people.

Smile. Know that you just enabled a company to avoid a potentially high liability which would of interferred with dividends for our most elite, outstanding, amazing, brilliant, cannot-live-without citizen shareholders. Even Obama knows we can't have these people go Galt on us and trickle their wealth on other needy people.

6. Ayn Rand is the poster child for being pro-abortion.
Not pro-choice, but pro-abortion.

7. And being pro-abortion is un-American
It eliminates a future high-fructose-corn-syrup fed gluttonous soul that needs to be hooked up to machines and have their arteries bulldozed out. Without these people, how will big-Ag, big-Pharma and big-Insurance (all receiving hefty subsidies these days) secure their profits?

Eliminating abortion is the only way to make sure our most bestest shareholder citizens are happy and wealthy enough to trickle on us.

4. United Health has become real good at denial
I have a hell of a time getting prescriptions filled. Every time the doctor fills one out, United Health denies it and I have to start over.

I lived on samples from the doctor for 6 months straightening out one.
