2. LOL, you are right, the other day, was at the gym and the TV had Fox on
and it was Cavuto's show and the ticker underneath was talking about housing interest rates up, didn't talk about the market. Too good of news i guess.

3. Shareholders unite in celebration!
Except for the ex-workers who had to sell off their shares to cover their mortgage while waiting for a job.

Tough to describe in detail. When it feel right, it feels right.

4. Even the usually right wing talking heads on CNBC can't
deny that the economy has taken a turn. They are even talking down Sam Zell right now who is extremely pessimistic.

7. So the market fortunes of thirty companies are now being treated as gospel around here?
The hypocrisy, it burns.

9. No, but this takes a major talking point away from the rightwing idiots....
They have been desperately tying to convince us that Obama's "socialism" is bad for business.

10. True...but then some people on the left will see it as proof of Obama's corporatism
It's really a no win situation.

13. Would those who claiim Obama's a corporatist prefer the market to crash??
That would bad for almost everyone and just play into the hands of the GOPers.

17. Of course the people who think Obama is a corporatist want the market to crash
And yes, that would play into the hands of the GOPers. Some people are so myopic that they can't see the big picture.

11. At the expense of another market bubble being pumped up
Which is currently what is happening with the markets, another bubble, shortly followed by another bust. Right now we're caught in a fairly calm stretch between the collapse of the residential housing market and the oncoming crash of the commercial real estate market.

But, at the moment, the market going up is not bad news.
