Teabag grammar hurts my brain
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 10:01 AM by Cresent City Kid
I work at a printing plant, mostly on business cards. One came across my computer screen that I felt I had to share here. It was for someone from the Capital City Republican Women out of Baton Rouge, LA. What floored me was the tagline at the bottom:

"Standing on the Constitution of the United States"

Not "standing on the principles of the constitution" just "standing on the constitution". Can you move your foot, I want to read the bit about freedom of religion.

I can't share the card, so I took a brief foray to their website to see if the line was there. I didn't see it but found more examples of an educational system gone awry.

Check out this list of links, bonus points for finding an apostrophe. These have not been altered.

Who were Churchills Allies

Who does the communist support in north Vietnam?

Who caught Sudam Husain?

What president was born March 16th?

If a baby was born in 2000 would they be able to drive when they are 16?

If you were born in 1995 in Ohio do have to wait until your seventeen to got your license?

The what states that people have other rights than those listen in the constitution?

Which branch of government grants permission for new states to enter the union?

Why did isolations want these laws passed?

What did the 21st ammendment have to do with the eighteenth amendment?

What did they break into Watergate for?

What was the effect of Kennedys unhappiness with the corrupt Diem regime?

What did Britain do as a result of Germanys growing economy during WWI?

Have we ever lost a fighter jet in the iraq war?

Is it illegal to play taps?

Pat, can I buy an apostophe? No? Okay, I'll solve the puzzle.

1. Can you imagine Teabagger story problems?
If a baby was born in 2000 and was traveling west at 43 miles an hour at the age of sixteen, where would Chicago be?

3. These endless threads re: teabag ignorance, are getting about as lame as Redneck Jokes.
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 10:07 AM by ShortnFiery
Yes, we got it! Teabaggers are lacking in manners and education. They are being mislead because they are "joiners" and blindly follow anyone who PROMISES to "keep their tax dollars safe."

Anyone with a gun and an Authoritarian Personality.

We should feel pity for these folks? But instead we make fun of them in what's seemingly an ENDLESS attempt to see who can be "the most petty" and "condescending."

The teabaggers are TRAGIC, not FUNNY to me anymore.

We waste our time deriding them as they are merely "the flock" not "the Sheep Herder."

6. I know the real problem is the puppet masters
I do pity them, and I would like them to be made aware of how they're being used.

Maybe I am piling on, I just thought some here would find this funny.

8. I'd like to see their logic on that
Allied with Stalin against Hitler, therefore Obama = Stalin and Hitler.
