'Crash the tea party' looks like a total scam
I smell a rat big time.

Nothing about it looks liberal to me. I don't think it's even necessarily a conservative thing. It looks more like a scam for $$$$.

1. If you're serious about infilitrating the tea party, why broadcast it?

2. I think Hannity mentioned the web site on his show...
and since then it's been over-run with Teabaggers.

6. I think it was over-run by teabaggers since inception
in fact, I'd say it was overseen by one of them as well.

Why would anyone who is a Liberal, who likely has already seen/heard plenty of racist, hateful signs, behavior, and comments from the Teabaggers bother to do this? It's like pouring a glass of water into one of the great lakes.

This is just a way to be able to say that the lunatic fringe elements are actually secretly liberals.

5. I am convinced that they want disruption and barring that will create their own opposition.
It just fits the M$M line that there are two sides pushing the line.

7. Good way to cover their asses...now they can blame their looniest on CTTP.
It's insidiously clever; claim that there is an organization out there who is invading your events and making you look stupid, thereby pre-excusing the misspelled signs, the taunts and hate speech. Just say "Gawrsh! Musta been them dang'gum Tea Party Crashers!"

The other posters are absolutely correct that this smells fishy, especially if Hannity is talking about it on his program. After all, why would any legitimate "organization" announce such plans publicly? Makes no sense.

8. A scam?
Limbaugh, Beck and other clowns are milking millions off these idiots. These RWnuts will pay any amount for this crazy stuff.

I see people just lining up to take their share.

My Wife mentioned caverns in Arkansas. We could buy some of them and convert them into a refuge for Teabaggers while Liberals and Brown skinned people roam the surface. Teabaggers can buy underground condos (shabbily constructed because of no socialist building codes). I'll put the Bankruptcy Court right on the ground floor of the Hospital in case they get sick. There are fortunes to be made!

9. This announcement gives Faux and all the rest of them a source to blame
for anything they like with this very possile
"bogus" set-up. Sort of smells of a Faux News,
Breitbart/pimp similar kind of plan.

Edited on Tue Apr-13-10 04:02 PM by Historic NY
Who wears dark tee-shirts? Who would pick the "Spirit of 76" as a logo?

if it was me I'd use a tea-bag squeezer

as the logo

13. Rush Limbaugh is already using it to make Tea Partiers look less stupid.
I heard him today going on about it, and thought "what a perfectly right-wing attempt at P.R."
