How about nominating someone we all know will be fillibustered... (for SCOTUS)
just so we can withdraw him or her and dare them to filibuster a second nominee?


Couldn't we do better than "mainstream" if we were aggressive about this situation?

For one thing, it will get him out of Presidential politics.

For another, he has a lot of really good humanitarian principles.
