If they can name aircraft carriers and airports after Reagan and Poppy Bush...
..they can desecrate an airport, aircraft carrier, or something of the sort with George W. Bush's name.

2. There was supposed to be a sewage treatment plant named after W,
but the name was voted down....

I'd like to see ships named after TV personalities - the USS Wink Martindale, or the USS Regis Philbin maybe.

How about the USS Vanna White?

6. The locals didn't want to insult the sewage plant, IIRC
After all, sewage plants are critical to civilized society. Unlike, say, Dubya.

3. I get enough of a kick out of it that the Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway in Illinois...
is a toll road.

It basically sums up the entire truth about him....right in front of everyone's eyes...and it's freakin expensive too!! Got to love those Reagan taxes!

7. I think it was Chevron that had it.
They renamed it fairly quickly... :-)

9. The 'Condoleezza Rice' was renamed to make it seem like Bush was not all about oil. Pic --->
Yeah, right.

10. It Bugged Me Too
Until I realized that in 30 to 40 years they will be
ready for decommissioning. They could be stored for emergencies,
sold for scrap steel or taken out and sunk to make an artificial reef.
The WW2 era flatop I served on was sold for scrap after 33 years in service.
