Just how does one get to be an expert? As in
"No safe way for U.S. to leave Iraq, experts warn" ?

I knew going into Iraq was wrong the first time Bush brought it up. I've a better track record than most of these experts, and the pay looks great, not to mention the perks. So, where do I sign up?

3. in dentistry we say that an expert
is someone from out-of-town with never-before-seen slides for projection. (Change that to Power-point for the modern folk)

6. With suitcases
That was the word during Navy Inspections. I was both the inspector and inspectee at times. An expert is someone from out of town with a briefcase.

5. First you have to make a bundled contribution
extorted from all the people in your company to the tune of a couple of hundred grand. Flaunt your 700 Club pins and get an audience with Pope Dobson.

That'll make you an expert. That's all you need.

7. Be a member of the Heritage Foundation
They are experts on everything in the universe. Their trick is not to know anything just have an audience of ignorant, constitution hating trash who lap up whatever that vile organization spews out.

8. An expert is...
someone who knows more than you, and can speak confidently. That's it. They don't have to know everything, just more than you.

Another way of putting it is: "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king".

11. Start a website, and declare yourself an expert
It wouldn't hurt to put something totally baseless on there like nominated for a Nobel Peach Prize since those things are top secret. Voila, you are an expert

12. Same "experts" that got us into the mess in the first place
All of the so-called "experts" have been incredibly wrong about almost everything for a decade or so now. The only thing that makes them an "expert" is their big mouth and their constant attacks on Democrats... The more incendiary their rhetoric the greater "expert" they become...
