Suffering a Fool gladly with a big toothy smile ----Suze Ormand and Mieke on Morning Joe
Edited on Thu Apr-08-10 07:33 AM by Mira
Just sayin'
Suze smiled and simply did not acknowledge or address her. She was as sweet as can be but treated her as if her father were a glass blower and as if Mieke were simply invisible.
It was not palpably offensive but obvious to me, oh if more guests could achieve doing their work and bulldoze over the "prattle without substance."

Did anyone else notice Suze doing that, and smile back at her?

(I'm not sure about the spelling of Ms. Brieszinski's name, first or last)

1. I don't cry for either one of them. They're both hucksters.
Mika does it by simpering. Orman does it with that fake smile and bravado. I turned if off real fast...

2. Orman's a phony and a shill and even worse,

she states economic platitudes as though she were Moses and God had spoken to her..."buy low, sell high" and the like. The most unoriginal person on TV since Dick Sargent took over for Dick York in Bewitched.

3. I understand what you are saying, but genuinely believe she has raised the
awareness of many about money in a fundamental way. I think there is a place for her in a society that has so many vacant spaces in their basic education.

I don't know the actors or the show you refer to, was not yet immigrated then, I think.
:)

10. Well, she has been in favor of NOT getting into debt over your head, but who hasn't?
I didn't need Suze to tell me that. I figured it out years ago when I did a budget on paper to figure out if I could afford a mortgage!

Maybe some folks need reminding but I have learned my lesson from REAL life and therefore I have no need of Ms. Suze. Thanks but no thanks...

8. At least Suzy doesn't have to practically blow Joe every morning to...
keep her job. Poor Meeka spends most of her air time looking down at her new breasts and kissing Scarborough's ass.

5. I turn them on long enough to see if the world ended, then off... joe Scarborough
is a windbag machine and Mika Brzezinski simpers along... etc., etc.

6. Does Joe have anything worthwhile to say?
He keeps bellowing about health care reform and I'd think that his producers would say enough, already, we're losing viewers...

Mika did try to inch into the conversation about "listening to the generals" but made her point so weakly that it came across totally lame...

7. Little that I ever hear... and generally several times a show, sometimes, he
starts this annoying phrase of, "When I was a congressman from Florida...," like many give a F. And when Mika tries to speak up she is generally put down either outright or tacitly. Generally I see Scarborough as a blowhard obnoxious bully with some air time and highly opinionated views.
