Obama's greatest failure = judicial nominations
more specifically, the lack thereof. I generally give Obama high marks, but I am at a loss to explain or understand why he is simply refusing to nominate candidates for the federal judiciary. The federal courts in my state have had openings for 3 years now, and Obama hasn't even NOMINATED anyone to replace them. We can't blame Republican obstructionism if Obama doesn't nominate someone to begin with.

You'd have to be delusional to think that we will have as many Democratic Senators next year at this time as we have now. This is a rare opportunity, and it is being thrown away.

1. Question
What can we as progressives do to try and keep or increase the number of Senators next year...or is hopeless ?
