1. Is Mr. Blankenship scheduled to speak?
I think it's really nice when a mass murderer gets a national media platform to explain how his murders weren't all that bad and stuff. Really lends a human element to someone I would have difficulty ascribing any humanity to.

2. Some idiot called Ed Schultz today claiming that if they knew it was unsafe
"those people" didn't have to work there.

Schultz did point out that when it's the only job around, yeah, you do have to work there.

All I could think was that, if the miners had walked out because of the conditions, this same idiot would have been complaining about them being "too lazy" to work.
