Trouble In Paradise: iPad Users Complain Of Wifi Issues
Just one day after launch and there are already scores of complaints on the Apple support site over faulty wifi on the iPad. A typical complaint is that the iPad shows no wifi signal, or a very weak signal, where other devices pick it up just fine

They'll fix that and the second generation iPad will be flawless!

3. Maybe it will support flash then
..or is that usually done in the second upgrade - after you've spent hundreds on the crippled version?

9. Never. Flash is an antiquated power-sucking technology.
There's another touch tablet available called the JooJoo. It features Flash as an 'iPad Killer.' Tests show that it is hammered by Flash in performance and battery loss.

Steve Jobs killed the floppy drive. Flash is next.

10. I would be a happy camper if flash disappeared
Although I don't credit Jobs with killing the floppy drive. His market share at that point was minuscule. IMHO CD/RW drives and cheap bubble memory with USB killed the floppy, right after millions of us invested cash into Iomega external drives.

4. I just finished reading an article on this, there is more than WiFi issues
there are issues with typing (it's very difficult), apps crashing and getting the unit to charge via USB

5. What?? A Brand-New Electronic Gizmo Has Bugs? Unheard Of!
Edited on Wed Apr-07-10 01:48 PM by Toasterlad
Anyone who rushes out to get the first generation of ANY new electronic gadget deserves whatever defects they get.

That goes double for an Apple product, as Apple most emphatically does not play well with others. I'll wait for the superior Sony version, thanks.

8. Which will be fixed with firmware and/or software updates, just like the iPhone.
And this has been posted like three times today.
