Rat (Alex CASTELLANOS) deserts the sinking Mikey STEELE
Edited on Tue Apr-06-10 11:09 PM by UTUSN
You remember Alex, the ad-man Rethug whose commercials mysteriously contained subliminal "RAT" in the word "DemocRAT"?!1 Well, supposedly "mysterious" to Alex, who just couldn't imagine how THAT got there!1

And what's the deal with his "decline" in his 'thug role since January and his terminating it---is he blaming it on Mikey?

On Edit: Oh, and where's the sign-up for the pool for picking the day STEELE (and/or Ratz) abdicate?!1

Former Steele Guru Suggests RNC Chairman Must Go

.... Alex Castellanos, a Republican media consultant who has been serving as an unpaid top adviser to the RNC, suggested on CNN Tuesday that Steele needs to step down as party chairman. ....

"Chairman Steele, I think, has lost the support of two important constituencies in the Republican Party: one is our . . . leaders on the Hill . . . but more importantly, he's lost the support of a lot of our major donors, the donors who provide the money, the lifeblood, the oxygen the Republican Party needs to succeed on its mission to take back control of the House."

"This is nothing personal," Castellanos continued. "This is about a party that has a cause, and that is, rescuing this country from bankruptcy. We have a responsibility as Republicans, I think, to provide the support that our candidates need to do that. And right now, I don't think that you're seeing a lot of that money. is frozen, it's not coming into the party, and perhaps a change in leadership here would thaw that and allow that support to flow."

According to a Republican close to the RNC, Castellanos’ advisory role began to decline in January of this year. During Tuesday’s interview on CNN, the veteran strategist made clear that he is ending his role as an unpaid adviser to the RNC.

“Wolf, I've lost my ability to be of service, I think, to the RNC, and that's happened for quite a while,” said Castellanos.
