Take, say, the top ten jobs. I'm a teacher, so I'm recusing myself. :D

In no particular order, and assuming they are all good at their jobs:

Teacher
Parent
Nurse
Artist
Scientist
Clergy

Hmm... I've got 6 so far, but I've got to get to work!
(I process dailies for Sony Television, so I guess I'd be pretty low on the scale...) :)

11. I know... weird.
And I'm an atheist. :)

However, I do believe that some clergy can have a very postive effect on society. I've seen enough good works done by church groups, the effect on many church members of having a "community" - even just the act of going to church can make some people feel better.

You'll notice, however, that I indicated those listed should be good at their jobs, and I'm sure you can infer which clergy I feel do NOT have a positive impact on society.

Journalists (in all media)
Election administrators
Judges
Legislators
High-level governmental executives, especially regulators
Mental health professionals (if they ever regularized themselves to the point that one could actually measure which ones were doing any good)
Environmental professionals (keeping our ecosystem healthy)
Physical health professionals
