RIP John Forsythe...
...

Bachelor Father -- one of my favorite programs. And, of course, Blake Carrington. The voice of Charlie on Charlie's Angels.

Forsythe died today at age 92. Another good one gone.

1. My condolences to family & friends
I'm embarrassed to admit, however, that I thought Mr. Forsythe was already deceased. Sorry.

3. You know, I had not heard about him for so long...
...I kind of thought the same thing.

Boy, I had such a crush on him when he played Bachelor Father. Sigh...

14. Me, too
and I didn't know if he was still alive or not. I just knew I hadn't seen him at all since Dynasty went off the air.

2. Oh no! I loved watching "Bachelor Father" on reruns
what a fun show. And "To Rome With Love". Remember when that show hooked up with "My Three Sons"?

4. You're right, another good one.
I was a fan of two out of three...Bachelor Father and Charlie's Angels. Never got into Dynasty. But he represents the last of a breed, the actor who brought skill and finesse to every role he played. R.I.P., Mr. Forsythe.

5. He was a real supporter of women's rights, besides being one of the most
distinguished gentlemen in his business. And that voice!

At 92 his journey had been made. We can just be glad he was with us. A dear, dear man...

7. His voice was like velvet...
...and that beautiful head of hair. I loved the silver fox look he had on Dynasty.

Great guy and, yeah, supported women's rights to the max.

6. The Trouble with Harry.
He played the iconoclastic artist who, in effect, makes a happening out of the discovery of a dead body in the woods outside of a Vermont town. It's a beautiful, darkly humorous movie, and Forsythe was just the right actor to play that role.

15. Another boomer icon. Graves, Parker, Culp - now Forsythe. RIP indeed.
Seems like more men than women dying recently, although Jean Simmons is missed, too.

16. R,I.P. I met him at Don the Beachcomber's in Malibu back in the
80's. A very nice man and as just as handsome in person. My encounter with him was brief, but I'll never forget the sparkle in his eyes.
