Alabama Senate passed a health care opt out bill .
The bill would let Alabama voters decide July 31 whether to rewrite the state constitution to say that ''a law or rule shall not compel, directly or indirectly, any person, employer or health care provider to participate in any health care system."

We will see what the House does in Ala.
The votes broke down on racial lines, all black Senators voting against the bill.

Sigh.

2. ugh
Even if the Supreme Court slaps down this idiocy who will make Alabama strike the "law" if they refuse? Do you see any possibility of forcing the state through federal law enforcement?

I guess the secesstionists have won after all.

1st they'll strike down healthcare, then it will be Roe v Wade, poll taxes, the 13th and 14th and anything else they hatriots want to disregard.

7. 'Nullification' didn't go over too good last time it was used.
Precedent says it won't this time, either.

4. States continue to follow the trail blazed in the 1800's by seccionists southern states.
How long to Bloody Kanasas and Fort Sumpter? Will they pull back before the unthinkable happens?

5. Good luck with that, Alabama
So, Alabama has asserted "States' Rights" to keep slavery and get rid of health care.

HEY, ALABAMA! Civilization -- You're doing it wrong!!
