Pawlenty takes more wind out of his fellow republicans' repeal and replace' campaign...and Romney's

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) on Friday suggested that the healthcare law signed by President Barack Obama's is similar to the one endorsed by one of his potential GOP presidential primary opponents.

Appearing on NBC's "Today" show, Pawlenty was asked about the new healthcare law compared to the universal healthcare law in Massachusetts signed by then-Gov. Mitt Romney (R). Both Pawlenty and Romney are presumed to be seeking the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.

"I would just defer to all the people, including the president and others, who have said there are a lot of similarities between it," he said.

3. it's a good wedge
... between the republicans who can afford to throw bricks and those in glass houses, like Romney. All of that hypocrisy compounded by the republican-oriented positions in the Act and those in their constituency who will realize their own benefit from the law as the election approaches.

4. you make such a good point and it's interesting you use the word "wedge". Sometimes
that strategy can work to help people rather hurt them.

2. So Phewlenty in what he says is a budget balancing action
pulled a Christie from NJ. He cut taxes for the rich and then cut the budget for schools, and hospitals to make up for the deficit. All republican All the time. A republican is the most commonest piece of trash to ever inhabit this country.

5. TP is Sarah Palin with a fake veneer of "reasonableness"
Crazy to me that anybody takes him seriously or would want him to be president.
