It doesn't fit in with their Doom And Gloom/Obama Is The Worst President Ever meme, so Mika reads the headline, moves on to the next story. I'm sure they'll be back after the break to explain that, since all 8 million jobs weren't regained in March, it means Obama is still a failure, and they'll have Gallup and Wall Street Journal (AKA: Fox Print Edition) polls to back them up.

1. Well, I'm sure there will be some DUers along shortly
to explain to you why this job report is meaningless and that we're on our way to Hades in a container woven from plant materials.

Ugh!

2. OH SNAP! DEAD ON!
First story out of the break -- Gallup poll and the "Enthusiasm Gap," and Republican's opportunity in November.

MSNBC needs to change the name of this program to Morning Fox.

3. 15 months ago = 600,000 jobs lost.
I'm damned tired of the half-cheerleading of doomsdays. Laughs at the TeaBirther's expense notwithstanding, I think Americans should welcome this positive news. It sort of affects ALL of us.

6. Well, it took their producers nearly an hour to figure out how to negatively spin this..
But they're in full spin mode now. They keep trying to mention census workers, but these are PRIVATE SECTOR jobs they're talking about, not government jobs. They keep trying to say the growth should have been stronger, without mentioning where we were a year ago. Somehow, some way, dammit, this has to be bad for Obama! Because they need it to be!

11. OMG! David Schuster just admitted that it appears to be a postitive trend!
This doesn't look good for the Obama-haters!

Now the Republicans will have to run on repealing your health care AND against an improving economy.

10. Meanwhile, the DOW is pushing 11,000....
NASDAQ and S& P also up substantially. I cite those only because the stock market THEIR favorite indicator of economic health, not mine. Can't wait to see how Meek-a spins that. Polls, schmolls. They're so "enthusiastic", they're cutting of their donations to the party: http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20100402/us_time/08599197731300

Count me among those who wonder just who Gallup and WSJ are polling...
