And not just a couple of dollars. Convince me who it is I should give my hard earned money to.

2. Tarryl Clark could be a possibility -- she's running against Michele Bachmann
As to the Senate, things haven't quite settled down as to who is going to run against Chuck Grassley.

4. Jennifer Brunner for U.S. Senate (OH)
Edited on Thu Apr-01-10 12:58 PM by Deep13
The primary is in about a month. She is a progressive candidate who fixed Ohio's election system after the 2004 election disaster. She faces "mainstream" Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher in the primary. His claim to fame is losing his A.G. seat in 1994 and then failing in his gubernatorial effort a few years later. He's only in office now because he ran on the same ticket as Ted Strickland. His anti-gun views will get him branded as an extreme liberal during the election, despite the fact that he really isn't. Jennifer Brunner started low in the polls, but has been steadily climbing. The more people know her the more they like her. And allowing Lee Fisher to lose another state-wide race to Robert Portman is too horrible to contemplate.

11. I was going to suggest Carol Shea-Porter also
Edited on Thu Apr-01-10 01:15 PM by Tom Rinaldo
She will be in a tight race and she came up through the ranks of progressive grass roots activists. She was a major volunteer campaign worker for Wes Clark in New Hampshire when he ren, and had tons of real people local support when she ran in 2008, which is how she beat the Republican last time. I've heard her speak live, and she is genuine through and through, real smart and tough too. She also has an independent mind. Though she remains close to Clark, she didn't follow his lead in 2008, she endorsed Obama over Clinton.

13. I would suggest a challenger rather than an incumbent. The incumbents
have had ample opportunity to line their pockets, and if they have not done so by now, bad luck got 'em.

Let someone else have a turn at the feed trough.
