Militia members charged with sedition

The Associated Press is reporting that eight members of the Hutaree Militia, based in Adrian, were arrested by federal agents this weekend because they planned to kill police officers. A ninth suspect is still at large.

According to documents unsealed this morning, the militia members planned to kill police officers. Once those officers were being laid to rest, the militia planned to attack the funerals, setting off pipe bombs and other explosives, the AP reports.

The group hoped that the plan would lead to a wider war against the U.S. government, the FBI alleged in a press statement. (more at link.)

Now isn't it time to go after the likes of Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, et al who have all but said that it's time to go after Obama, you know his picture in crosshairs and other such messaging? I hope that they go after every single one of these organizations and mavericky, roguey politicians, including those sanctioned by the GOP, that threaten any elected official or government employee or place of business unless it's legally through the courts or other legal means as impeachment or recalls as it's meant to be. No more of this dangerous hate talk. It is sedition IMHO.

because those people took their hate speech out of context. The right wing is very good at double speak and codes within messages that border on crossing the line without actually crossing that line. The BillO defense.
