Protesting the Government: Us versus Them

When liberals protested Nixon's invasion of Cambodia:



When conservatives protested Obama's expansion of health care coverage:




In a very un-scientific move I googled "Nixon Tyrant" and "Obama Tyrant" and saw Nixon in the lead with 1.6 million hits versus 415,000 for Obama. However, Nixon has been out of office for decades and Obama is ONE year into office.

Maybe it's not fair to compare modern day tea party protests to the Vietnam-era, but with all their talk of Obama being a tyrant, taking away their liberties and freedoms, and on and on, I thought it worth a moment of perspective.
