Rachel Maddow wants some help searching Hutaree Forums

Anyone who has the stomach for it, have at it.

The Michigan Messenger reports that a poster named Anna left this on a Hutaree message board:

"The Federal Authorities have raided not only our group but also the Michigan Militia. They have hijacked their website and placed word there that they were not raided."

Anna goes on to say that the agents broke into their houses, took away kids and tasered wives.

Over at the Michigan Militia site, as you can see from the picture above, you'll find a statement that the site hasn't been taken over by anyone. The message condemns attacks on elected officials and asks, "Interested in joining your local militia?"

The Hutaree forums are giant. We'll be wading there for a look-see. If you're able to spend a little time in there, too, let us know what you find.

3. I'd like the initial stats on this site

Like, before they were thrust into the MSM and their forum traffic jumped......how many posted there regularly?
You know, they probably also recruited members from this - 'publicity is good, but bad publicity is better' in this case.

ETA: though I will tell you...the more we LAUGH at the batshit crazy - the better. A fellow DUer mentioned earlier to think of the Boggart in Harry Potter, "Riddikulus!"

4. I spent a lot of time on that site yesterday, but she will need to register

to read the non-public boards, I did not want them or perhaps the "effa be eye" or BATF ect...to get my IP addy, as I do not have a proxy set up to hide behind, so I did not register to browse them.

Hope that Rachael has a strong stomach,as there are a lot of sickening images posted on threads there now, since yesterday afternoon by trolls and what looks like almost all of the "Anonymous" 4Chan website membership.

It's amazing to see the Alex Jones crowd vs. Anonymous... it's hilarious!

But be careful, Anonymous has posted some disturbing images... I mean, you may think "oh gay sex isn't that bad" but just keep looking. There's some truly vile stuff in there.
