Teabaggers spitting on Democratic Congressman Emanuel Cleaver. FOX's Sean Hannity tried to pretend that it didn't happen. Huffington Post now has video. It's pretty sickening. And listen to the crowd - these people are sick in the head. But they're also typical Republicans, at least the Republicans who currently run the party. If you don't do exactly as they say, even when they massively lose an election, you're a socialist dictator who must be stopped. Listen to the crowd. You wouldn't know that they controlled Congress for 14 years, and controlled the White House for 8 years, just until 14 months ago. Now it's suddenly the end of world. Drama queens.

3. Fox doesn't allow reality to impinge on its reporting

So you have video and audio. Fox knows how easy it is to have a producer rev up a crowd before they start running the cameras; they've done it themselves. So, if they can't ignore the footage, they'll deny its authenticity. If they can't deny its authenticity, well, who cares, because Fox will have uncovered a new shiny object to distract its audience.

5. You could tell he was spit on by his initial

reaction. It was obvious from his startled reaction and immediate wiping of his face it was more than just a little spittle from yelling. I also thought it was interesting that toward the end of the video he came out with a police officer and looked for the guy that did it.

6. Holy shit-- did you see the spitter after Cleaver had left? Watch him-

he seems to be describing how he spit on the Congressman and covered it by cupping his hands over his face as if he were screaming. He cups his hands to his face, makes a kind of spitting gesture, then reaches out and touches the other Teabagger's face in the spot where Cleaver seemed to have been hit.
