3. Airing that ad takes hutzpah. People actually remember what he was like
He doesn't have the benefit of the haze of time. My whole family hates Reagan.

13. I pretty much took it as a personal kick in the nutz myself.
It reminded me why I choose to avoid GE products.

4. Ha ha ha ha haaaaa! Hit the link and read what it says in the top left corner.

5. If by "progress" . . .
. . . they mean "Lighting an Equator-long Fuse to a 2008 Mountain of Economic Dynamite (With Smaller Stacks Exploding On the Way)", then yes, you couldn't get any more "progress" than that. The Trickle-Down Bailout Laissez Fail King was the Pre-quel to future Bewsh flop-o-ramas, which they got greenstacks, no criminal prosecution and we all got handed the bill.

6. To Quote Joan Baez at Woodstock
Refrain From The Song, "Drugstore Truck Drivin' Man"

He's a drugstore truck-drivin' man
He's a head of the Ku Klux Klan
When summer comes rollin' around
We'll be lucky to get out of town.

8. I remember how Reagan raised my taxes and then spent every cent of my SS
I was making about $105 a week in those days and every penny counted. But I thought, hey, it's going to make Social Security solvent forever. Then he and his thugs spent every cent on tax cuts for the uberwealthy.

15. I saw an ad for that while watching MSNBC coverage last night.
How ironic that they ran it during the health care bill vote...their support for the deification of a man who tried to defeat Medicare and who ruined the country for decades as President.

Made me sick.

17. First Unrec! So what else does GE and Reagan have in common?
At some point, both did business with Iran.
