Edited on Sat Mar-20-10 05:30 PM by kentuck
Not just their actions, but their words. They came into Washington today, largely coaxed on by Republicans and FOX Network, and stormed the halls of Congress. It is reported they yelled "faggot" at Barney Frank and one yelled "n****" at John Lewis. This must end.

The Republicans should be called to denounce these actions. This is not acceptable.

2. Actually I like that they don't denounce them. Their silence implies tacit approval
and that's more damning than anything, IMO.

they ain't got the guts to stand up to the fringe element that is taking over their party. You know you can call democrats cavers or whatever but they denounced Move On with the General Betray Us shit flap, because they saw it as right and decent to do. Not ONE of these bastards will do what is right and denounce this shit, no they call them "patriots".

12. I don't want the GOPs to denounce a thing from the Teabaggers
I prefer that GOP silence shows the American people without reservation, that the GOPers and 'Baggers are the same sort of slimey, bigoted, smallminded and violent idiots who deserve to be kept a thousand miles from elected office.

Then let election day come, and let the chips fall where they may.

14. Could someone simply
Please any one here can you simply answer those questions:
-What is simply the new health care reform in your country? What is the difference between it and the current one?
-Why is old tea parties coming again I studies that Americans refused to give tax money to British and wanted freedom why is this related to health care reform?
-Will the new health care affect doctors and people who work on health care system?
-Will you have 2 types of economy one for community services and one for industry or it is just a new system under the same economic values?

Please answer me cause I don't understand what is going on, thanks.

16. Basically...
It is an attempt by Democrats to get 31 million more people covered with insurance. It is insurance reform moreso than any type of "national healthcare". Republican claim it is a "government takeover" of our healthcare system.

"Tea Party" is used as symbolic of any tax issue. "Tea bagger" has a sexual connotation in America.

Yes, it could affect doctors that are specialists more than general practitioners, or so I have read.

Our system is a mixed economy already. It is part socialism and part capitalism. In the last 3 or 4 decades, it has gone more in the direction of "laissez-faire" capitalism.

It was a campaign promise by Obama that we would reform the healthcare system. The insurance industry and special interests are spending millions and millions of dollars to defeat any type of reform and to defeat Barack Obama in the next election.

I hope the helps?

And welcome to DU!

It looks like a perfect reform cause except to Doctors I hope if it passes and affects doctors in a bad way they will do something.

17. For heaven's sake WHY do you want them to break that tie? It's doing them such a disservice.
I hope the teabaggers stench wears off on every single republican in Congress, and I hope they can never wash it off. I have no doubt that 70+% of Americans find them all disgusting and by supporting or saying nothing about the teabaggers that have embraced them, well, they'll smell of it.

21. We is us and they is them.
But I assume the "tie" you are talking about is between the Repubs and the Tea-baggers"?? The issue will have to be forced or no one will be held responsible for their affiliations and actions. Oh, never mind. They are just like the old crazy uncle...
